Hello Clive, I haven't made much progress with my Glasspools. I think I have located John & Ann Glasspool (as Glasspole)on 1851 census, living on Brockhurst Road. Their place of birth is given as Durley. In the 1861 census they seem to have been living off Forton Road, with their daughter Martha (& her husband George Woodrow). In this census Ann gave her birthplace as Winton.
