Hi kim thanks for your reply i will have to grill my aunts and uncles for more info on our search,i can tell you that my grandparents and many other relatives also lived in the alverstoke area, in fact the house that my grandparents lived in is still standing, i am quite sure that with the names you have given me there will be a link, you may find it worth while looking at the name PITT AND WRIGHT.
I have Ellenore Pitt (nee) Glasspool born c1890, husband george, and Daughter Lillian Glasspool(Spinster)born c1910 GREAT GRAND MOTHER AND GREAT AUNT RESPECTIVLY hope this is of help i will let you know how i get on this is a bit of a slow process but i feel as though we may have a link with each other.as i live in the south of england i am not too far from relatives who should have some answers, good luck regards clive
