john barber white's book
just a question to throw by everyone. john barber white genealogy of thomas gleason seems to have a number of errors, according to my research, has anyone else found this to be so? i've always found him to generalize about his event locations, like saying such and such happened in worcester, when, according to the vital records, it happened in the small town north of worcester. but today i found this mistake: #60 aaron gleason
married eunice, dau of daniel kenney...
(page 51) but in the ancestry of dr. j.p. guilford by joan s. guilford, she states that eunice was the dau of JONATHAN KINNEY. her book is loaded with references and supporting evidence, which makes me think she really worked on making sure she had sources, whereas mr. white seemed to be interested in cranking out a lot of books, i know of three he did, all the while running several companies he owned. maybe, i could get some feedback from some of you who have used these
works to reference your own research could let me know what you have found, it will help me to know whose work to put the most weight
on. thank you
