Hello,I am also researching the Glovers of Licking Co, and I correspond with another researcher. One or two of my messages are further down the list.My great great grandmother was Clarinda Glover 1831-1912, daughter of Alfred Glover 1801-1874 and Jane Finch 1789-1864.Alfred and Jane were from Hardy Co. VA, now WVA, and moved to Ohio before Clarinda was born.Clarinda married Isaac Agney, whose name was later spelled Agnew.Alfred and Jane are buried in Barnes Cem. in Mary Ann Twp outside of Newark, along with some other Glovers.Clarinda Glover Agnew is buried in Cedar Hill Cem. in Newark.I correspond with a woman who (we think) comes from Alfred's probable brother Minor Glover and Sarah Finch, who may be the sister of my Jane Finch. They all came from Hardy Co, VA to Ohio at the same time.Minor and Alfred and younger Glover generations lived near each other in Mary Ann Twp.According to one census, I think that Alfred and Jane might have had 5 children, three of whom could be Rebecca, Lorenzo and of course Clarinda.Let me know how you fit in - also if we have guessed right about the relationship of Alfred and Minor and Jane and Sarah and all of their descendants.Adie [email protected] or [email protected]
