Sorry Tom, took me a couple of days to regroup. I am just guessing now based on info from family member and records I found. Looks like your Dorothy and mine could be same person. Her mom Elinore Loretta Morrisey married a Daggs guy from her town in Iowa, had Dorothy and a son Patrick and then got divorced or he died and Elinore married Wm. F. Goez and had more children, since the census 1910 could not have her listed as she wasn't born yet, if she was born between the two censuses as I believe than by 1920 the census taker would have assumed her last name was Goez like the rest of the household. But when she married Cahill her birth certificate would have said Daggs. If this is possible, please check w/your relative in Tx. Too many facts still need confirmed but even the date of Elinore's death is same as my Dorothy's mom's 1975. Please if you can help.
