I'm a direct male descendent of Joseph Goings (b. abt. 1796 in Columbia County, Georgia) who I believe to be a grandson of Moses Goings and his wife Agnes (through his son William) who came to Georgia from Virginia in the late 1780’s. I believe Moses is the oldest brother of Samuel and father of Thomas Going, both of Mississippi. I’ve conducted a 67-marker DNA test. My results can be found under kit #159133 at:http://www.jgoins.com/goins_dna.htmhttp://www.jgoins.com/goins_dna.htm (click on “Results” to get to the table).
