Hi Jerry,
I think I may tie into this line, my great great grandmother was Lydia M. GOLLIVER but on marriage cert listed as GALAHER. She married Nathaniel HARRIS She was born in 1839 and has been found on 1850 Washington Twp Van Wert county OH census with her parents John GULLIVER 85 yr old & Lydia 52 yr old it says that John & as well as oldest child Alexander 26 yr old born in VA. The problem is I can't prove if this is my Lydia as marriage records say GALAHER. She died young after having her 2nd child who died also. My great grandmother Priscilla HARRIS was her only surviving child. I have been told that Priscilla was at least part Indian but have traced her father's family way back and there's none there. Do you know anything about the Golliver line?? There is also another woman I talk with who I do believe is descended from your Tovanian he's listed on the 1850 census as youngest child but the name there is Lavonia. Karen is trying to trace John & Lydia in VA now. I'm not sure if she's found anything yet though. Do you have any facts on the siblings of Tovanian??
Shelly
