Abt 1800 when John was 25, he married Mary Cobal, in Pennslyvania. Born on 8 May 1780 in Pennsylvania. Mary died in Jackson Township, Seneca Co., Ohio on 5 Jun 1852, she was 72. Buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
