i know this is very confusing but both my william harris, sr and my william harris, jr had wives named frances.
as i have posted, both my william harris, sr and jr and my mackerness goode, sr andjr had ca 1770 grants in the same little river area of now laurens co, sc.
it was my william harris, sr, b ca 1725, who married my frances goode, daughter of my mackerness goode, sr ca 1745 lunenburg co, va.
it was my william harris, sr/ frances goode, also, per the info i posted, who had the agreement with william marable re the plantation finneywood in 1745 lunenburgco, va.
again, a suit ensued re my william harris, sr/ frances goode with william marable and, again, per info i posted, all my frances goode harris' family gave depositions, including her father, my mackerness goode, sr in lunenburg co, va.
i do not know where either my william harris, sr or his wife, my frances goode harris died???i am not totally sure they actually moved to laurens co, sc.
it is their son, my william harris, jr b ca 1748, who married ca 1768 frances rodgers, daughter of my john rodgers, esq/ sr, who died 1799 laurens co, sc.
his wife, my frances rodgers harris was on the 1800 census for laurens co, sc listed as francis harris.my frances rodgers harris died between 1800/ 1801 also in laurens co, sc.
i do not know how they died but probably from an illness.

the following lunenburg co, va deed names my mackerness goode, sr's wife as sarah and, as indicated, they sold land to reps osborne.there are several reps osbornes and i do not know if this were the reps osborne, son of thomas and elizabeth osborne hendrick or not???
