Re: William Harper Gould/OH

My geat grandfather was William Henry Harper.Here's the kicker - His grand father was James N. Harper, and was married to Sarah Gould.Not sure if this is pure coincidence, however, I am trying to find information on the Gould family.This family Harper/Gould, was an industrious family in Paterson, NJ in the 1860s - shoes and hoop skirts.I know nothing about this family having member moving to or being in Ohio; but if you have a date, it might help to know to see if this note means something to you.
