?Peter Graham (born c.1755) and family, within the
1816-1825 time frame, appear to be in present-day
Marion County, Ark. (part of Missouri Territory until
1819, then part of Lawrence Co., Independence Co.,
and Izard Co.) Other than Peter’s daughter Rachel’s
marriage to a son of George “James” McGarrah, are
there other ties between these two families? I get the
idea the families moved westward together at some
point.Did Peter and James serve together in the
Revolutionary War? Did the Elijah Graham family live
near Peter during the years mentioned? Has anyone
sorted out the relationship between Elijah and Peter?
Half-brothers? I’m not kin, just researching
details/stories of early local history. Thank you.
