Hi Frankie,
Well, I am here now after my pc crashed. I have a brand new one now, but haven't had time to study this material anymore. I am sure Bobbie was the right person to contact about your family history. She was certainly a power house of knowledge where Arkansas Grahams are concerned.
I only contacted her originally to see if she knew anything that could connect the Grahams of Arkansas to Grahams of Madison County, MO. She didn't know yet because there was no previous interest to her about them. When I came along she turned her interest my way...and began looking at Elijah, Sr. All in all, she was pointing to Elijah Graham, Sr. and his antecedents in Donegal, Ireland, through David Graham and his father, John? or William? Graham. One of those. Elijah's mother was not the same mother as his half brothers. But if this Elijah is the father of my Elijah, then we have some auspicious things to study next.
I don't believe Peter and Elijah were brothers, but I believe they were definitely related. They all left Green County, Kentucky for Arkansas at the same time (1811) on the same raft (up the Green River) with their children and slaves. This I can document fairly well. I think this is old news anyway. Making Elijah, son of Elijah, Sr is NEW news to me because we have never been able to substantiate this. It is logical, however. Gary and I have come to this conclusion with everything we know and with every thing we could assign to it. It makes sense...perfect sense!
PSI think Bobbie L. would question your Nancy's last name (Tate) though. I could be wrong about that though. I haven't reviewed my facts lately. I used to be keen on all of that myself until my pc crashed last month.
