Mr. P. B. Grandstaff, son of the late Peter Grandstaff, who lived iu Beohm's Gap, this county, received injuries by the fall of a limb from a tree from which he cut, died about two days after the occurance.Mr. Grandstaff was in the woods cutting logs for Messrs. Kibler's saw-mill, near Kimball, when a tree, which he had cut knocked a limb off of another tree which fell striking Mr. Grandstaff on the front part of the head, crushing the skull in a terrible manner. Dr’s. Hudson, Keller, and J. I' Brnmback were called and rendered all the aid in their power, but the unfortunate young man never regained
consciousness, and died as above stated. he was about 23 years of age and leaves a wife and one child.
