Re: General Nathanael GREENE

Well, here is an interesting thing....I have an entry in a family bible that states the following:

Annie Greene (who was the wife of Clark G. Sweet) who was the daughter of Reed Greene who was the son of General Nathaniel Greene. The maiden name of Annie Greene's mother was Lucy Gallette.

I am aware of all of the known names of Nathanael Greene's children, but, at one time I read that he had fathered a son, by a slave, who was of course not recognized. However, this son produced a grandchild, who was recognized in a will of Nathanael Greene. Hmmmm. Now, to find a copy of that will. Has anyone else heard anything along this line?
