desperate for Greene's

Looking for any info my GF Francis/Frank Greene born Ireland 1833, went to NY with 2 brothers they apparently set up Greene's garages( family Rumour) Not sure when they went.

Stories go One brother found at the bottom of the Hudson in concrete overshoes ???? one brother remained. I would like to find out about this family.

Also can anyone help with an obit for this Greene (hudson death) or search NY archives for me PLEASE.(sorry don't know year)
My GF married a Mary Walsh and their first 2 kids born there Marie(mary) margarete b1903 and 1904 cant even find birth records for them> their next child was born 1908 back in Ireland (Co Clare)

By the way some one has suggested Little Falls dont know where this is either
