William Clark Green, Stark Co, OH, a desc of John Greene of RI

I am looking for information on William Clark Green. Census data indicates he was born ca 1816 in NY. He married Nancy McCadden and had a number of children: William Jr (1837); Basil (1839; Mary (1841); Martha (1843); Drusilla (1845); Augustus (1847); John (1849); and Wilfred W (1851).

His son Wilfred W had a son Oliver Howard Green, b 1883 in Michigan.

DNA test results show a match with 2 other men, one of whom may be descended from a John Greene who lived in RI in the 1600s. I am trying to establish the link between William Clark Green and John Greene.
