Re: Elizabeth Green(e) 1821 - aft 1885

I recently found out that I am related to a Green and Hannon from N.C. according to my dna results .My main interest is Nelsons of Green Co.,Tn. particularly Jeremiah and Joshua Nelson early 1800s.Other surnames associatedare Shannon,Nichols,Wallace,Parker,Elmore, Edwards,Marshall, Woods, Bryants,Morgan,Lee, and May. I am tracing my John Nelson whom I believe is the son of James Nelson of Buncombe, Co.,N.C.born 1780 and died 1835 md. to Nancy Reynolds.They lived in Lincoln Co.,N.C. The above Joshua Nelson was also in Lincoln Co.,N.C. in 1810. I think Jeremiah Nelson wasrelated and I have seen a posting that he was md. to a Susan B. Greene in Greene Co.,Tn. and a Elizabeth Shannon. Jeremiah also lived in Rowan Co.,N.C. where my g.father William Columbus Nelson was born .He was the son of the John above ,g.son of James and Nancy. My William also lived in Greene Co.,Tn. in 1870-1900. He returned to Rowanand Davie Co.,N.C.where he lived til his death in 1935.
