In 1910, Robert E. Lee was mayor of Springfield, Missouri.Robert had a daughter by his first marriage, Mildred, who married Lester E. Cox, a local Springfield businessman and hospital leader.In March of 1911,Robert E. Lee married the town's police matron, Kate Cozzens. Their marriage did not last long. They had a baby girl named Bobbie Lee, born in December 1911.Kate later became "Kate Carter".Bobbie became, "Bobbie Brooks", in the 1930s.Does anyone know what happened to them?Are any of their descendants still around?If anyone knows anything about Kate and Bobbie, please contact me.
