Jackman & Greene , grocers,St. John's ,Newfoundland

Can anyone tell mespecifically who was William Greenewho was a partner in the St. John's,Newfoundland grocer firm of Jackman & Greene(still in existence) ?
I have accumulated so far about 223 pages on the Point Verde Greenes. William was a member of this family,but I can't work out exactly where he fits. He died suddenly in Feb.,1921 after shoveling snow for a long while.
