Margaret Amanda Greene

Margaret Amanda Greene was born in North Carolina in 1828. On 3 May 1845 she married Isaac J. Simpson. They moved to McNairy county, Tennessee. She died 7 November 1960 in Hardeman county, Tennessee. They had five children.

Their son William J. J. "Mug" Simpson was my Great Grandfather.

I am trying to find her parents and siblings. I cannot find them in NC although I have tried for over forty years. I read her death and birth dates from her small white marble head stone. in McNairy county Tennessee. These counties share bondries. (East/West)
