Nathaniel P Greene b. 1826 Coeymans, Albany, NY

I have long wondered if my Greene family from GA and NC were related to Gen. Nathaniel Greene, but in my research I have not been able to get any farther back than Joseph H Greene born 1795 in North Carolina.In my research on another line, I ran across a tombstone in Blue Ridge Cemetery, near Chilicothe, Illinois (close to Peoria).
The Tombstone reads:
Nathaniel P. Greene
Born in Coeymans, Albany, New York
Feb. 6 1826:
died
May 2, 1880
aged
54 Yrs. 2Ms. 28 Ds.

I have not run across this name yet and was wondering if anybody knows if THIS Nathaniel is related to General Nathaniel Greene.
