I'm fairly new at this, so forgive me if it's a different lineage. But, it's just too much of a coindence not to be.I was on the web the other evening and came across a world of information as far as I was concerned.I found out that my ancestors are from Kanawha Co., WV.The person I am referring to is George Green(e).Notice that the "e" is dropped and according to my mother, was added by her great-grandfather after his children were born. Not really sure why this is.Anyway, you might want to check out that website just to see if it relates to your part of the lineage in some way. It's www.gendex.com.It houses over 5,000,000 names and you can become a member and receive even more info.Let me know how it goes.We could be related. You never know. All the best!!
