Your John GREENE, who married Elizabeth JENKINS, is brother to my gg-gf, Nathaniel GREEN(E). My ancestor brought his family to Bell County, Texas, circa 1867-1870. I think John and Elizabeth came with them. My g-gf was named Nathaniel, also. Have you found John's father? I think he might have been James GREEN(e), but I don't know for sure. I think their mother, Lydia, may have been a BARNES, but I don't know for sure either.

I'd love to correspond with a distant cousin.
