I can't answer your question, but this might be a clue: [Gov. Greenup's children are listed in his will.] When Elizabeth Luckett d. in Louisville in 1817, the witnesses to her will were Thomas W. Thurston, Susan P. (Greenup) Luckett, L. (Lucetta) Greenup and Worden Pope.Like the Greenups, the Luckett family came from Maryland.Harry Wright Newman published "The Lucketts of Portobacco" (Charles Co., MD) which gives a lot of info about that family.Lucetta Greenup went to the Territory of Florida sometime ca 1820 with her sisters Nancy Peyton (Greenup) Gamble and Charlotte V. C. [who m. Nathaniel P. Hunter] and Christopher Greenup, Jr. See census 1830 Jefferson Co., FL; 1840 to 1860 Leon Co., FL; 1870 Chesterfield Co., SC. Their Duval cousin was the Territorial Governor [and their Pope uncle was Territorial Governor of Arkansas]. Hope this will help.
