Our Greer family came from County Tyrone in about 1822 and settled in Washington County, just south of Pittsburgh, Pa.When the original father (Matthew) died, mother Isabel went north to Butler County (about 1834) with the 3 youngest children.There are several Greers posted to this forum with roots in and around Pittsburgh.Good luck!
