I recently saw this post and wanted to contact you regarding this Richard Griffin.He is my 5th great grandfather on my Mother's side of the family.My line is through his son, Lewis Griffin born 1774.He and his family lived in Georgia.I would love to hear any other information you might have about Richard Griffin and his family.

While researching our Rogers ancestors, I found a Richard Griffin b. 1734 d. 25 Oct. 1805 married 1754 Nancy Ann Clarke who was b. 28 Nov. 1740 d. 18 Oct. 1792. Richard is listed as a Rev. War patriot in Laurens Co., SC. This was located on www.sciway.net/hist/periods/revolwar.html

We have a Richard G. Griffin as an ancestor but he was
b. 19 June 1804 & married Phoebe Yates Parks. They lived in the McDuffie Co., GA area.

Does anyone know Richard Griffin b. 1734?
