I am currently liaising with Tom Griffiths from Rhyl over last 2 wks re this part of the tree as I think it may link to all of us!
I beleive Clwt Bach is in Glan Conway and not Eglwysbach however the date you give is possibly on one of HDP Henry David Pochins cottages, late of Bodnant.No2 and 3 Clwt link to my tree, I assume you mean the cottage near the bend in the road, there was a clwt rhedyn farm there too, see 1891 maps at www.old-maps.co.uk to assist, join several up to get the full map of the day.
Am i right to think there were 2 Johns with one dying as a child 1st Oct 1878 or dont you know of this one dying aged 3 wks?
I am working on databases of all Griffiths for LLGlan Conway and Eglwysbach.keep in touch please, my tree goes back to 1774 with Griffiths.
Best wishes Gareth
