GRAHAM - Mrs. Nancy Griggs Inman, 65, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012 at 2:45 p.m. at the Hospice Home in Burlington after three weeks of critical illness.
A native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of John Thomas Griggs and Rosa Griggs, both deceased. Nancy was a former employee at Glen Raven Mills and Culp Textiles.
She is survived by her children, John Acey Huffman of Maury, N.C., Hamilton Inman of the home and Tracey Murray of Vermont; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Ruth Satterfield, Mary Inman, Rosalle Barker and Mamie Ray; and a half-brother, Walter Griggs.
She was preceded in death by half-brothers and half-sisters, Lloyd, Charlie, Bob and Leonard Daniel, Lucy Ward, Annie Duggins, and Robert, Raymond and Frank Griggs.
A memorial service will be conducted at Brookwood Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. with the family receiving friends following the service.
