The 1895 Kansas census just said Raymond and indeed he is the husband of Mary. He apparently died before the 1900 US census as Mary was widowed. I believe Raymond to be son of Chancy/Chauncey (not sure of spelling) but this census did not say his relationship. I hope these are the correct family of yours. The names seem to match up. At least you have a place to start.
Back to Ella, was her husband Frank Shubert? I found a 1920 US census with Frank, Ella, Raymond (born abt 1918) and Lettie Shubert (Born abt 1819/20) living in Sugar City, Crowley, Colorado.---
In 1930 US census at Beaty, Delaware, Oklahoma are the same 4 plus children Vernie, Freda, Lethia, Orvil, Retha and Chester. All those extra children born between 1920 and 1930.---
1925 Ks. State census in Payne, Gove County, Kansas has F.W., Ella, Raymond, Lettie, Vern, Freda, Letha.
