I moved to Florida in 2000 and started doing family genealogy in summer when it is to hot to do much else. I found out that the Grogan's came to price township in Rockingham N.C. and it was a town of Grogan's. It didn't survive because the train didn't come throught so the logging business they had started didn't work out without trains. Most of them moved away to other places to find work. This was in 1839 and they had wood stacked up for miles waiting on the train to come through. This was on the North Carolina Virginia border. I was lucky to make a copy of it because a few years later I couldn't find out anything about Price Township. Haven't checked in a few years but I am sure there is a site or book in the library about Price township in a N.C.
