This is so complicated I probably need your email address. We have another cousin on this forum ,Kerrati from CA. She is the ggrandaughter of Susan's sister Isabella. Can't find the 1820 or 1830 Joseph in the VA. census. I think Wm.'s crowd is in WVA.George's dates are 1780 - 1824 or so. He m. Mary Headley in 1809 and maybe Ann Fitzpatrick in 1822. Can't find birth date for him just a guess. He is supposed to be Joseph's dad but who knows. Joseph Sr. could have been head of household in 1840 but not 1820. Sure that was Joseph Grow or Crow? They used the names interchangeably in the census. There is a land transaction of Joseph Crow 1792 in Campbell Co.Appomattox was formed from part of Campbell.Please email me your address.
