Wife Susanna age 44 Female, children were William Grow age 20 M, Henry Grow age 18 M, Samuel Grow age 16 M, Nathan Grow age 13 M, born in PA, John Grow age 11 M, Elizabeth Grow age 9 F, Reuben Grow age 7 M.

It is possible that Henry's name could have been Henry Benjamin Grow, or Benjamin Henry Grow.Another researcher whom I have been in contact with in 1997, had sent me his line, but his says Benjamin Grow.I haven't been able to contact this person since to confirm this at all.

Ancestry.com has some civil war records. It shows that Samuel Grow is the son of Benjamin Grow and Susanna.He was in the F 132 PA Inf.Not sure if this is the son of my Benjamin Grow and Susanna, but I added him anyway :)

Notes for REUBEN MORRIS GROW:
It has not been determined exactly where Morris Grow is from, but I am assuming it is from the Lehighton Area either in Lehigh or Carbon County, PA.

My Aunt Margaret has some original documents.In one of the documents, it listed James Albert Grow's Fathers name to be Reubin Grow.However, his obituary shows that his father is Morris Grow. There is a high probability that Reubin Grow's name could be Reubin Morris Grow. Morris's wifes name is Mary.So, there is a great possibility that Mary's last name is Schwartz.This is pertaining to other information that I have found from another researcher online.I can't prove anything yet, but am working on it :)

Before James Grow died, he said, "God be mercifull to me, the sinner." His services were held at Obituary Morning CallThursday January 23, 1941

"Allentonian Had Served Overseas In The World War"
James Grow, 50 years old World War veteran, died at 4:30 A.M. yesterday in the Allentown Hospital where he had been admitted December 12 for medical treatment.he resided at 1899 Walnut St. Allentown.Mr. Grow served six months over-seas in the last war and received honorable discharge as a Private.At the time of his fatal illness he was on the WPA rolls.He was born in Lehighton, a son of the late Morris and Mary Grow.For the past nine years he had lived in Allentown.Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude Snyder; six sons and three daughters: Raymond, Claude, Harold, Paul, James, Albert, Margaret, Esther and Ruth, all at home: two sisters: Mrs. Minnie Merr. of Columbia, Pa. and Mrs Carrie Derr, of Lehighton and three brothers: Henry and George Grow both of Lehighton, and Thomas of this city.

Buried by Simmerman on January 25, 1941 at 10:00 AM.Pastor Robert S. Beisel from the Emmanuel Home Mission, Allentown, PA conducted the services.James is buried at the Grandview Cemetery near the flag pole. He was laid to rest at 2:30 PM Saturday Jan 25, 1941.
