Gerald, do you possibly descend from Charles Minor Grow of Yates County, New York?Charles was the son of Danforth Clawson Grow and Hannah Lynn.Danforth was the son of Nathaniel Grow and Sarah Cornwell.My great grandfather was Charles "Milan" Grow, the brother of Danforth.I have quite extensive history of the family in New York and beyond.

Charles Minor Grow left his family in Yates County and moved to Michigan, and I believe he started a Mercantile business there.He made several trips back to New York over the years but never reconciled with his wife and children.His father helped him out financially when he left for Michigan, and I believe that Danforth made a couple of trips to Michigan to visit him.There were descendants of Charles Minor living in Michigan.Don't know if this helps you are sounds familiar at all.I am 10th generation GROW in America
