John Grow (b. 31 Jul 1775 in Canterbury, Windham County, Connecticut, d. Mar 1843 in Ridgeway, Orleans County, New York) married (1) Sarah Brown (16 May 1786 to 6 Dec 1833).Sarah was from Waterford, Vermont, but I'm unsure if she was born there.John married (2) Cyrena MacDowell (26 Dec 1786 to 21 Mar 1864) - this second marriage produced no children.

John was town clerk of Waterford; removed after first marriage to Victor, Ontario, New York, later to Clyde, Wayne, New York, and 1814 to Yates, Orleans, New York.

From his wife Sarah, John had the following children:John Alonzo, Addison, Huldah, Charlotte, Ralph, and Artemas B.
