If your Grow line stops around 1850-1880 in La. I might be of some help to to you. You see around the time of the war people's names changed for one reason or another. My father's family is from the southern parts of Louisiana and have a french background. I have information on around six males and six females at the time the names were changed. What is the name that has you at a road block?
