The bit about Rebecca being so young when her father died was the first information that made good sense on this issue.Since posting this message, though, I have found a great book at the Family History Library in downtown Salt Lake City about the families of early Andover Massachusetts. It is more like a novel than an historical documentation, which makes for a good read. In that book, Rebecca is mentioned connected with Thomas Grow.That book, along with the information found in other genealogical books that matched her birth date exactly with the child of Hannah Allen and James Holt, I feel confirm her as being their child.
