Re: JOHN GROW of Ipswich, MA

Hi Mary, I too want more than anything to know the answer to that question. Ive been digging in my GGrandfathers geneology books and it stops with him (John Grow of Ipswitch) however it does say that he came from Oxford. When I asked my grandpa about John Grow, he says that he was from the Cronwall area. I know, totally contradictory and it only makes me want to know more. Also in the books, it first has John's birth date as 1636 then is scratched out and put down as 1644, why? I have no idea to that either. Several years ago my uncle searched for family records in England and could'nt turn anything up because he thought the spelling of Grow was different. If you have any more pieces to the puzzle please share!
