Researching Grunow Family from New York City

I am researching the family of Charles and Louisa Grunow who migrated to New York City from Berlin in 1850, along with their 3 sons, Julius, William, and Charles, Jr., and their 2 daughters, Pauline and Adelia.
I am particularly interesting in the line going from Julius (T.) Grunow, who, along with his brother William, was an optician in New York, and Connecticut for a short while, then back to New York again. His children (with wife Adeline)are Ogden, Max, Emma and Adelaide, and (with wife Henrietta) Julius (A. E.), Laura and Clara (twins).
I really would like to contact living relatives of Ogden, Emma or Adelaide, for information about the brother Max.
Except through a possible connection back in Prussia, there is no relationship to the midwest Grunow's, that I know of.
I am researching this for someone who is a possible distant relative to fill in a piece of the family genealogy.
