Mathais Haas 1914-1945 Austria

Looking for information anyone might have on Mathais Haas born 1914 possibly in Hungary died in Burgenland as a German Soilder in 1945. At least that is the story I have been told. I do know he owned/operated or at least someone in his immediate family did - a quarry that is now some sort of ampitheater in Austria. He married Elizabeth Catherine Geiter.
