Henry John Hacker - Toledo, OH

Hello Listers. I am looking for any descendants of Henry John Hacker of Toledo, Lucas Co., Ohio.

Henry was born 23 Dec 1832 in Lubbersdorf, Neukloster, Germany. He immigrated to the US around 1858 according to his census pages (all in Toledo, OH). He died 15 June 1916 in Adams Twp., Lucas Co., Ohio.

Henry married Dorothea "Dora" Hobe (Hobey?) bef 1862, probably in Ohio. Dora was born 17 Oct 1834 in Germany and she died 25 Nov 1904 in Toledo, Ohio. On her 1900 census, Dora stated that she was a mother of 10, 7 were alive at that time.

The children I have been able to identify so far:

1. Louis J. Hacker - b: 26 Oct 1862 Toledo, OH. d: 20 Nov 1933 Toledo, OH. He married Lena Trost (or Frost). They had a daughter Hazel M. (b: Sept 1892 Toledo, OH) and a son Robert (b: abt 1898 Toledo, OH).

2. Fred Hacker - b: abt 1864 Toledo, OH. He is on the family's 1870 & 1880 census (Toledo, OH)

3. Henry Hacker - b: abt 1866 Toledo, OH. He is on the family's 1870 & 1880 census (Toledo, OH)

4. Emma Fredericke Hacker - b: 10 Aug 1867 Toledo, OH. d: 12 Feb 1919 Toledo, OH. Emma married Charles M. Bridge on 30 Nov 1899 in Toledo, OH. They had no children although Charles had a son (Arthur) from a previous marriage.

5. William Hacker - b: July 1869 Toledo, OH. He is on the family's 1870, 1880 and 1900 census (Toledo, OH). d:?

6. John A. Hacker - b: 21 Feb 1871 Toledo, OH. d: 30 June 1939 Toledo, OH. He was listed as SINGLE on his death certificate.

7. "Lissie" Hacker - b: abt 1877 Toledo, OH. She is on the family's 1880 census (Toledo, OH), Age 3.

8. Lena B. Hacker - b: 7 May 1880 Toledo, OH. d:? Lena married Clyde Robert Withrow, an Ohio native. Children: Mary Jane (b: abt 1913 OH) and John Henry (b: abt 1917 OH).
This family was found in Grand Rapids, MI in the 1930 census.
