I'll reply to this for informational purposes because the post is so old.George Washington Hacker, married to Rebecca Hollingsworth, was the son of Joseph and Priscilla Hacker.I have him born in Roane County, Tennessee in 1811.This is proven by the fact that two of his sons appeared in a court hearing abt 1861-2 related to the estate of Joseph Hacker. They were considered heirs of Joseph through their deceased father, George.Info about the court case has been posted by Alexis Scholtz on Roots Webb.
George W. Hacker had older brothers, John and Julius C. Hacker.John and Julius C. were married to Cyntha and Elizabeth Beeler, respectively. They were daughters of Daniel Beeler, son of Jacob Beeler, grandson of Ulrich Beeler.Julius and Elizabeth Hacker lived in Claiborne Co. and Grainger Co., Tennessee. In 1859 he moved his family to St. Clair Co., Missouri.
William Houston Hacker, son of Julius and Elizabeth, did move to Cherokee Nation Indian Territory, with his son John R. Hacker (my grandfather), about 1900.The area where they lived became Craig County, OK and my father was born in Big Cabin, OK in 1908.
Joseph Jerome Hacker, son of George W. Hacker, was found on the 1900 Fed Census for Township 7, Chickasaw Nation Indian Territory. In 1910 he was living in Hollis Ward 1, Harmon, OK.He died in 1912.James B. Hacker, son of Joseph Jerome, was born in Missouri but moved to Oklahome in 1900.He ended up in Hollis Ward 1, Harmon, OK.He died there in 1919.
Jerome (Jerry) M. Hacker, another son of Joseph Jerome, was living in Oklahoma in 1900, but he moved to Texas.
I hope this answers the questions asked in the original post.
