The information that I have says that Susannah (Luanna) Hackler married
Empraim W Stampler on Sept.16, 1831.(Do you have certain
documentation that this is wrong?)

Susannah was born in Grayson Co. Virginiaon abt 1816 and died May 9
1866 in Grayson Co.She was the daughter ofPeter Hackler I born
March 6, 1771 in York County, Pennsylvania and died Sept. 1836 in
Grayson Co.Peter Hackler was the son of Johann Georg Hechler (George
Hackler, SR in Grayson Co. Virginia records) born in 1743 in Rott, GPI
Palatinate Province, Prussia and Elizabeth Peter born in Prussia about
1745.They had nine children whose names I know.Johann George Hechler
was the son ofHans Georg Hechler born April 14, 1708 in Birlenbach,
North Alsace, Germany (now in France) and died in York Co, Pennsylvania
in 1774 and his wife Susanna Haulin who died in 1790 in Bedford Co.
Pennsylvania.They immigrated to this country with five children one of
them being Georg Johann Hechler.Hans Georg Hechler was the son of
Jacob Hechler1680 of Rott, Alsace, Germany and Margarteha Stabler.
This is as much as I know about the Hackler line.

many other Hackler cousins and the internet.If you can tell me about
the children of Susannah and Empraim Stampler I would appreciate it.I
am trying to document as much as I can on the branches of the Hackler
family so I can make sense out of the census data on the internet.
Knowing what happened to the branches helps me determine where they
moved to and identify who the names in the data might be.
