Linda
Thanks for the information. If you can email me the obituaries to [email protected] I would appreciate it.Another researcher had sent me information stating Johnie was the child of Mary's youngest sister Elizabeth.Elizabeth was not married. And lived with Lewis till Mary married and she and George raised Johnie.Mary died 1900 in Magoffin County and buried in Gilbert Adams Cemetery. That's why George showed up as Widower with Johnie living in Crace household.George remarried a MarthaWhitaker who finished raising Johnie.George,Mary and Martha are buried together at Gilbert Adams.Mary,Elizabeth,Lewis were children of George and Manerva J Kilgore Hackworth.Hopefully we can narrow it down I don't show Johnie on census records as a child of Lewis Hackworth.-Thanks Robie Prater
