Robbie and Linda. Martha Whitaker m. George Spradlin. Martha was the sister of my grandfather Bill Whitaker. Martha Whitaker m. George Spradlin in 1900. They never had any children. Bernice Moore in Salyersville told me that George and Martha raised Johnie Hackworth. She said George Spradlin's first wife [Mary I think] was the dau. of old George Hackworth. She said Mary's sister had a child out of wedlock [I think her name was Elizabeth]. George and Mary took the child at birth [Johnie Hackworth]. When Mary died [in 1900] George married My Martha Whitaker and they raised Johnie. I have a very old photo [tin type] that came to my dad from Martha. It is of Johnie Hackworth and his wife.
