Hospital. Willard Hackworth

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Bender Funeral Home for Willard Hackworth, 54, of Rural Pierceton.The Rev. Chad Burkhart officiated.Burial was in Swank Cemetary, North Manchester
Mr. Hackworth died 11:20 a.m. Monday Aug. 12, 1985 in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, following a six-year illness.
He was born Feb. 4 1931 in Salyersville, KY. to Johnie and Mary (Brown) Hackworth.Formally of North Manchester, he lived near pierceton for 30 years.He was employed for 22 years with the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad.He married Mandy Jackson Dec. 24, 1950 and she survives with two sons; Michael Hackworth and Gary Hackworth, both of Pierceton and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are brothers; Adam Hackworth of Disco and Wayne Hackworth of North Manchester; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Eva) Jackson of Silver Lake and Tressie Beron of Carey, OHIO
One son, one brother and one sister are deceased.Preferred memorials are to the Kosciusko County Cancer Society.

Wayne Hackworth

Wayne Hackworth,66, Urbana, died at 3:45 Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001 at Wabash County Hospital.
He was bornNov. 4,1934, in Salyersville, KY to Johnie and Mary Molly (Brown) Hackworth.He married Edith Stephen on Aug. 26, 1959 in Liberty Mills and she survives.
He worked on the railroad.
Also surviving are four sons, Wayne Hackworth Jr., Timothy Hackworth and Johnny Hackworth, all of North Manchester, and Randy Hackworth, Laketon: four daughters Rosemary Boggs, Urbana, Diana Shepherd, Laketon, Lauria Ann Hackworth, Naples, FLA., and Judy Wilcox, North Manchester; two sisters Eva Jackson, North Manchester, and Tressie Beron, Cary, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 2p.m. at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester.Pastor J.P. Freman will offiate.
Burial will be in Speicher Cemetary, Urbana.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. Thursday at the funeral home

Eva Jackson

Eva Jackson,78, Fort Wayne, formerly of North Manchester, died Oct. 29, 6:30 a.m., at the home of her son, in Silver Lake.
She was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Floyd Co., to Johnnie and Mary (Brown)Hackworth.She married Henry Jackson Dec. 8, 1937.He preceded her in death April 3, 2000.
Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and an employee with the former Bryan Manufacturing, North Manchester.
She is survived by four sons, Dallas (Patty)Jackson, Coesse; Richard Jackson, North Manchester; Steve(Linda) Jackson, North Manchester, Ron (Carole)Jackson, Ft. Wayne; a sister, Tressie Buron, Carey, Ohio; 21 grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.She was preceded in death by two sons, Doug Jackson in 1998 and Dennis Jackson in 2001; three brothers; a grandson, and a great-great grandson.
Services were held Nov. 1 at Delaughter-McKee mortuary North Manchester Chapel.Rev. Chad Burkhart officiated.Burial was in pleasant Hill Cemetary, North Manchester.

Hackworth, Wanda Sue. Born April 9, 1953 and died April 12, 1953 in Wabash Co. Hospital, the daughter of Adam and Delpha(Jackson) Hackworth, both born in KY.Services at home with burial at Swank Cemetary.

I was also told by Mandy Hackworth that there was a baby born to Johnie and Mary(the firstborn) that died named Genoy Hackworth(In Kentucky).
