My granddaughters other grandmother is Ruby Akers Wilkerson. She gave Jennifer some information, but either she had things messed up or as I believe Jennifer wrote it down wrong. When I place query on GenForum Jennifer thought "Marvin Earl Hackworth was Violet Marie's dad. Then a lady looked up her obituary and it gave me the information I was looking for.
Might you have some pictures you could email me copies of of Violet, any of her siblings or parents etc.? Jennifer has nothing. She was born in 1965 and when she was born her dad wanted nothing to do with her. That was ok with us as he lost a lot, she is a beautiful lady. My daughter did not tell her who her dad was until she turned 18. He still don't want anything to do with her, but his mom has become a really fantastic grandmother. Anyway, I worked on my family tree, and did work for others for 38 years, long before computers, and so she decided she wanted me to do her tree for her children. She is only 24 and has 4 children. Where do you live? I was born at Ward at the doctors office in 1942, and lived there until I was 14.
I married a guy from Ward, but he passed away from Cancer in 1984.
