barbara:some info that i have that is a bit different than that which you have.1- the city is Mooreton nd.was there for grandmothers funeral.2- in the info i have, the original spelling of the last name was hafener. the explaination of why it was changed was to stop mail mix ups between family members.
as i have reviewed the info that i have... i am a bit confused.it appears that anton, not john, was my great, great grandfather. i have that anton and his wife rose prusche were both born in germany in 1846 and immigrated to canada.that they had 8 children.
i do not have any dates or locations regaurding john and elizabeth, anton's parents.
