Looking for the origins of John Hafner 1816-1873.
Lost all his money on wheat in Germany, came to US.
Married 1) Barbara ? d1849 ; one son Cosmos John m Annastosia Doye
2) Ludwina Shooltz (1826-1894) b either Baden, Germany or Brooklyn, NY, m in Hamburg, Erie Co,NY
then immigrated to Michigan, Albee Twp.
