Re: Hafner from Chicago/Switzerland

Hi Donald! Where might your Hafners come from in Switzerland? I have had such a tough time trying to get info on my ggrandfather's family. Charles William Hafner was born in St. Gallen, Switzerland in 1838. He emigrated to t he US and married my ggrandmother Ellen Kirwan in the Pennsylvania area. They had several children. Any connections? Thanks!
