Henry Wesley Hagewood b 12 Mar 1913, son of Watkins Welch Hagewood & Ethel Groves, mar 28 Mar 1936 to Lillian G. Gafford b 24 Aug 1909.
Nicholas William Hagwood, b Cir 1843, son of William D. Hagwood & Susan Ann Patterson, mar 2nd time on 12 June, 1904 to Lou Ella Gafford, b cir 1872.
Thanks for posting the info on Mary. I had the first 3 girls but I also have never figured why they were living in 3 different homes in 1860.I also was never sure of the listing of Mary and the 3 other children on the 1860 cemsus.What other (if any) info do you have on the other 3?Also does anyone know where the name "Grinle" originated?Probably an earlier marriage but I have no info on it which made it difficult to trace her to the Duke's.
Interesting sideline:I am descended from also the Cunninghams and Carrolls that 2 of the girls lived with and from the O'Kains that Mary Elizabeth married in to. I have bben to her grave which is also in the middle of the woods close to Jackson Chapel.
